Product Description
Nylon Monofilament Ophthalmic Sutures USP 7/0 – 12 Pcs Non-Absorbable with Needle
The Stellmacher Nylon Monofilament Ophthalmic Surgical Sutures USP 7/0 feature fine, non-absorbable black nylon thread made from high-quality Polyamide 6/6.6 nylon. Paired with a precision 8mm, 3/8-circle reverse cutting needle, these sutures are designed for controlled needle handling, precise stitch placement, and delicate soft tissue approximation in selected ophthalmic and microsurgical applications.
Each suture features 45cm (18 inches) of black nylon monofilament thread attached to a stainless steel surgical needle. The fine USP 7/0 (0.5 Metric) configuration supports accurate tissue approximation and careful needle placement in appropriate ophthalmic, plastic, and reconstructive surgical procedures. Supplied in sterile, single-use packaging, with 12 sutures per box.
Key Features
- Fine USP 7/0 Ophthalmic Sutures: 0.5 Metric suture size supports delicate tissue approximation and precise stitch placement in suitable ophthalmic procedures.
- Premium Nylon Monofilament: Polyamide 6/6.6 material provides smooth, flexible, single-strand construction with reliable tensile strength.
- Non-Absorbable Suture Material: Provides continued tissue support without being designed for absorption by the body.
- 8mm Reverse Cutting Needle: Precision stainless steel needle with an outer cutting edge for controlled penetration through suitable tissue.
- 3/8-Circle Needle Curvature: Compact curved needle configuration supports controlled placement and maneuverability during fine suturing.
- 45cm Black Suture Thread: Provides visual contrast, practical working length, and smooth monofilament handling.
- Low Capillarity: Single-strand nylon construction limits fluid wicking compared with many braided suture materials.
- EO Sterilized & Single Use: Sterile, single-use sutures supplied in a convenient box of 12.
